To use this tool type or paste some text into the text area and it will let you know how many words are present in the string.

This tool is very similar to our text length tool. It counts the number of words used in a text passage so that you can correctly judge what you need to write. Again, a simple, but useful tool. Phil created the word counter tool based on the DMOZ entry requirements as the description must be between 25 and 30 words long.
