New website for the family man
August 28, 2008husbandsanddads.com (written “Husbands & Dads) is a new website that saw its official launch last week. While visually it does not have anything extraordinary or even exciting, its aim is to be placed in a different manner than the regular men’s print magazines in the market. What seems interesting about it is mainly the subject matter.
The website stays true to its name, whether it is the home-page or the forums for users or the different sections; they all follow the main theme that it is woven around. It is definitely a good online platform for people who do not want to (or cannot) usually go through something like Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit collection. Husbands & Dads looks to differ from the likes of Maxim, Men’s Health, AskMen, GQ, FHM, etc.
It has been created by Jeremy Biser and Cory Huff who are trying to capture a niche - one that includes marriage tips, child rearing, casual entertainment and also videos picked from the web. ‘Where it is cool to be a family man!’ is the appropriate tagline that they have chosen for themselves.
