Mobile Lifestyle innovations to be showcased at CTIA WIRELESS 2008

The CTIA WIRELESS 2008, one of the premier global events in the world, will welcome more than 40,000 attendees to the Las Vegas Convention Center on April 1-3. The event represents the $500 billion global wireless industry. The participants from panel discussions to exhibits at CTIA will experience the evolution of wireless technologies and what that means for subscribers.

This event will feature more than 1,200 exhibitors displaying their offerings across various sectors, including device, infrastructure, IT, entertainment and business application. Keynote speakers of this international show will include well-known entrepreneurs from various companies such as Vodafone, Verizon Wireless, Sprint Nextel, Virgin Group, Yahoo! Mobile, Alcatel Lucent, Ericsson, Nokia Siemens Networks and Nortel.

Robert Mesirow, the vice president of CTIA, said at least 300 new companies will be participating as exhibitors this year. Some of the industry’s most influential thought-leaders plan to choose CTIA WIRELESS as a platform for introducing new products and sharing their visions for making the connected lifestyle a reality. The show will include three conference tracks that will cover the most important issues related to wireless carriers, mobile device & infrastructure manufacturers, content developers, media companies, and technology enablers.
