Microsoft is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that Bing stays on top in the search engine war. It has recently announced a new partnership with Thomas Cook UK and Ireland. In line with this partnership, Thomas Cook UK and Ireland, is going to help in the promotion of Bing through an online competition.
Thomas Cook is going to use the catchline “Bing around the world” to encourage users to guess the image of a destination on the Bing homepage. These users will then enter a final draw to win holidays to destinations like Turkey, the Canaries and Egypt.
Thomas Cook UK and Ireland, being the exclusive sponsor of this lucky draw, will remain on the top of all the search results for destinations across Bing. It will also be on the top of the departures to destinations on the dates during the entire length of the campaign.
David Hilton, the Deputy Director of eCommerce for Thomas Cook UK and Ireland stated that Bing is an excellent search engine for people to search the internet. He referred to Bing as a fast, accurate and intelligent search engine that gives the most relevant results. He also added that this partnership with Microsoft is ideal for their company.
