Google Toolbar 5

November 19, 2008

The Google Toolbar team released ‘Google Toolbar 5 for Internet Explorer’. It was launched just recently out of beta and is available in a phenomenal 40 different languages. To mark this occasion and also to celebrate what will soon be Toolbar’s eighth birthday, the Toolbar team has launched a new updated version of the Google News Toolbar device.

This new upgraded version now comes with tabs which have various sections relating to Google News. These tabs are fixed directly inside the toolbar itself, which enables users to become aware of the latest news as soon as it is released. Users are therefore instantly provided with breaking news headlines.

Users can also go through the most important news events which have made the headlines and can also view pictures and images. The best part is, they can do all this without going off the website that they are currently on. People using the Google Toolbar can surf through the various sections by clicking on what they are interested in. in this manner, users can go through or read the latest stories in areas such as the World, entertainment as well as the science-tech category.

When the user comes across a story that he or she is interested in and would like to know more about, all he has to do is open the story in a new tab by clicking on it. Another option is for the user to click on ‘all news articles’, which will then result in the Google News page opening.
