Facebook’s Mobile Applications

Facebook received almost one million comments with regards to status updates within the first day itself. The status update application is one of the most useful tools as it allows friends and users to learn about each other in a simple and convenient manner. Earlier, users could read and comment about each other’s status updates only from their mobile phones. However, today users can use this facility from anywhere.
Facebook makes an effort to continuously modify and update its mobile applications so as to offer more advanced and convenient applications to all its users. Its mobile website can be used worldwide on almost every mobile browser. Facebook also has x.Facebook.com, an extended mobile website, which allows users to make great use of advanced mobile gadgets.
Users can receive the latest notifications and can even update their status by making use of Facebook SMS. This is done in the form of text messages. Facebook also has certain applications created specifically for gadgets such as Palm, Blackberry and iPhone which offer the user a variety of functions and applications.
