Facebook and Twitter to be available on Xbox Live

It is very hard to keep people away from such social networking sites. Microsoft has confirmed that social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter will be made available on the Xbox 360.

Microsoft also said that Silver Xbox Live members will not be able to access this service on an ongoing basis. Silver Xbox 360 members will be able to make use of this offer on a trial basis. In a statement posted by Microsoft, the social networking sites Facebook and Twitter will be available to Xbox 360 Live gold members free of cost. They also added that this feature will be a one of a kind social experience, which is completely optimised for the television.

This feature will be integrated into people’s consoles. In addition to this, people will have access to Last.fm, demos, trailers, Netflix instant streaming and the best multiplayer gaming network. This makes the Xbox 360 one of the best home entertainment systems around. Microsoft also added that they are going to add more features in the near future.
