Blogs can be a great marketing strategy for small businesses
April 11, 2008An expert said recently that the unimaginable growth and marketing potential of blogs has made them one of the best things that could have ever happened to small firms.
It is one affordable way for smaller firms to market themselves and grab potential customers. It helps them present themselves to a huge population worldwide, by not spending too much on promoting themselves. Companies get an opportunity to display their achievements, stories and spread the word across to their customers. Plus, it is an interactive and an immediate way to communicate with clients, thus helping them to comment on the posts published by the company.
The CEO and co-founder of Compendium Blogware, Chris Baggot said that blogging acts as an equaliser, in much the same way as email marketing works. He added saying that the success of a marketing strategy does not depend on a huge budget, it depends on the place where that strategy is applied, thus, helping us to convert visitors into customers.

Thank you for the plug.
Marketing success used to be based on budget. Those with the most money were able to have the best marketing.
Now with web based marketing tools including blogs, cost isn’t the determining factor with regard to success or failure.
This is an opportunity for companies both large and small. Small Companies have a new opportunity to break out of the mass marketing morass while big companies now have the same tools at their disposal to use in new ways.
Should be fun.
Best,
