The Search Industry Grows

As with almost everything in life the search industry is getting larger and larger. Its not however as large as some people may think. New figures from a survey in America suggest that there is a new high for the amount of people that use search engines and the figure has gone up to 49%. This means that if the survey was accurate then less than half the amount of people that use the internet use a search engine.

The rise in the amount of people using search engines has been put down to the quality of the results a search engine will return. The better and more relevant the results then the more people are using search engines.

This of course is were SEO comes into action. 49% of people is less than half, this means that there are still a lot more people to be converted into using search engines. This also means there is a lot more future potential revenue to be made on the internet. Its plain to see that search results are getting a lot better and with a majority of industries now if you don’t have SEO then your website is less likely to turn up in any search results.
