SEO For Firefox Broke

Has your SEO for FireFox stopped working? Yeah so has ours. SEO For FireFox is a valued tool when it comes to analysing websites as the information it can give you can save a lot of time doing it in a more manual way.

As you would expect however we are on the ball and ben from our R&D department has found a fix to the problem.This is our step by step guide to fixing your SEO For FireFox

  1. Navigate to your seo4firefox folder in the extensions folder of the user profile. The path to this folder is as follows C:/documents and settings\sessionName\Applications Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\l8ictfq8.default\extensions\seo4firefox@seobook.com\content\overlay.js. The parts of the path that have been highlighted in italic will be different for every user. Session Name will be the name you give yourself as a user on your PC. l8ictfq8.default again will be different on your machine, however this is the only folder in that directory.
  2. once the file has been opened navigate to the following line 840: var results = s.doc.getElementsByTagName(’div’); and change it to var results = s.doc.getElementsByTagName(’li’);
  3. save and restart.
