Google, Whats Going on?

As discussed in one of my comments to this site earlier this month Google has currently been making a large scale update to how its listings are showing. We have had many clients call us to advise that they are no longer on the front page and then suddenly the next day we get a call to say “I don’t know what you’ve done but were now back!” Our selves like many other Search Engine Optimisation firm have notice this effect at the moment. Listings are changing daily with sites that have been on the first page for a chosen phrase disappearing and then the next day reappearing back in the positions. So for the moment we just have to sit back and watch until google has reconfigured itself and then pick up the pieces.
