It has been mentioned before in this blog about Why You Should Get Your Business Listed in Google Maps today I thought I would add another great reason. Localised searches could get your business displayed with a nice little map of where you are; a link to your website and a link to your business information.
Another great reason is that when Google displays the search results it also displays your phone number in the search results. This is good as reading about this subject on various sites web owners have noticed an increase in telephone inquiries due to this and web users have given this the thumbs up because they are never more than a couple of clicks from the number you need.
I personally think that it is important because even though we live in a digital age and everything can be done online people still want human interaction, people will still pick up the phone especially if your number is put in front of them and there won’t be more people looking for you online as there will be from Google.
