PPC Account Executive

Based at: Head Office: Adlington, Cheshire
Reporting to: PPC Account Manager/CTO
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm

The PPC Department is responsible for managing PPC campaigns for client’s websites, through a variety of formats. The team uses a variety of different PPC Techniques with the priority to ensure the highest level of return on investment.

Main Purpose of Job:

The PPC Account Executive is responsible for monitoring and maintaining PPC campaigns across a number of our client’s websites on a daily basis. This is a technical, hands on role, where you will be liaising with clients to achieve the required results as well as a continual optimisation of their campaign. Knowledge of Google Adwords is desired but not necessary as training will be provided, but a high level of competency in IT, the Internet and Microsoft Excel is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

New clients

  • Assist in the implementation of new accounts
  • Write Ad text for new campaigns
  • Develop new keyword lists

Campaign implementation

  • Carry out periodic optimisation of client campaigns
  • Improve conversion rates
  • Work with analytics packages, building campaigns and optimising as required.

Client Management

  • Liaise with clients to update them on activities of their projects and recommend a strategy for continuous improvement
  • Discuss projects on monthly basis with clients
  • Liaise with clients to ensure ROI is maximised
  • Produce monthly reports to the client, communicating their campaign performance

Development/other

  • Continually develop knowledge and skills in PPC and other online marketing strategies
  • Develop knowledge of Just Search products to enable cross-selling and up-selling as appropriate
  • Keep up to date client notes on the Project Management System

The Content team is responsible for supplying text for clients’ websites, as well as carrying out various programming work on clients’ sites, such as installing blogging platforms. The team uses a quality management process to ensure the highest level of service for our clients.

Main Purpose of Job:

The Content Writer is responsible for researching and writing original content for clients’ websites, on a wide variety of subjects. The text may be in the form of content pages, articles or reviews where applicable, and you may also be responsible for editing text written by others. The team works towards achieving key performance indicators to ensure that all Content services are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write content for clients’ websites on a variety of subjects to a high standard
  • Adopt an appropriate writing style for different types of client, subject matter and audience
  • Research and locate subject matter
  • Publish text on websites using content management systems
  • Maintain client websites with updated text
  • Ensure a smooth delivery of  content to client websites
  • Prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines
  • Maintain up to date records on department/company systems
  • Where required, edit text written by others and provide feedback
  • If required, liaise with clients to problem solve and implement necessary changes to the client’s website
