Today I’m gonna talk about the topic of Black hat Search engine optimisation. Firstly lets define what is is all about:
“Black hat SEO is the practice of Search engine optimisation using methods which manipulate the Search engine guidelines.”
So what are some Black hat SEO tactics? Like white hat SEO the techniques are still divided into on page and off page optimisation. Below are some example of both.
On Page Black hat Optimisation
- CSS Spam
- White text on white backgrounds
- Door way Pages
- Repeated keywords
- Etc.
Off Page Black hat Optimisation
- Link farms
- Multiple sites
- Etc.
Two different sides to Black hat Optimisation, In my next articles you can find out more about each individual technique.

According to some reports, most companies will be greatly increasing their spending on online marketing in the next year, with some doing so by more than 50%. As companies increase their focus on the importance of creating an online presence, so too does the need for accurate measures of user behaviour. Web analytics packages give companies the ability to view this behaviour and draw conclusions on the effectiveness of their marketing strategies.
As an SEO company, we need to show our clients a measure of how effective our search engine optimisation is proving for them; simply showing them their position in search engines for chosen keywords isn’t enough. Web analytics will tell us just what words and phrases are being searched for that lead to a visit to a client’s site, as well as many other highly detailed factors.
We are currently looking into improving our services in this area, trialling various packages to find the best service for our client’s needs. We will be notifying our clients of these new tailored services as soon as we have our assessments complete.
