Yahoo Update - August 29th, 2006

Yahoo has recently made an update to their algorithm, which has had a dramatic effect on many sites’ listings.

Many webmasters believe that this update has been a change for the worse, demoting reputable sites and allowing new and unestablished sites to do well. In fact, this has been the general feeling towards most of the recent updates across the major search engines.

The recent Google Pagerank updates are another example, where many sites experienced a generous boost in pagerank after bigdaddy and then lost pagerank in the latest update.

Please leave a comment and let us know your thoughts on this matter. Do you think the major search engines improving for the better or for the worse?
