Search Engine Optimisation tools - February 26th, 2006

There are an abundance of SEO tools available on the market that will analyse your site and give good and bad pointers to your website. The problem that arises with these tools and the Search Engine Optimisation advice they give is how accurate is it?

Personally the tools that are available are useful and can give you an opinion on your website status, however this with the experience of the industry is what makes a good SEO, knowing why you should carry out some methods and not others.

The most important factors are where weight is placed and what points are given to which SEO factors. This is what separates a good SEO from a good web designer.

There is a lot of information available on SEO all with contradicting opinions we post information to give search users valid information that we will be useful rather than to pressure sell.

From initial results there have been many page rank shifts in both directions. Our own site has not risen another page rank however the over arching page rank has now been spread more evenly across the rest of the site.

For top SEO’s this is the point when we can do the best analysis for your competitors so an educated estimate can be made regarding approximate timescales for results.
