The Google Sandbox Effect, Sandbox Theory or Sandbox Filter
There has been much confusion to whether a Sandbox really exists in Google. The Google Sandbox theory or effect as it has become known in the Search Engine Optimization world is described as a form of restricting or dampening filter that is applied to new websites in Google Directory. Theories recon that it usually lasts for between two and six months from when the web site’s is first spidered by the Googlebot.
New website often find it unusual as they enter the search engine results pages (SERP’s) at least for a couple of weeks and then drop out of the search engine rankings completely they can only be found under obscure search terms with little competition.
So does the filter really exist? Goggles Sandbox theory seems to be particularly apparent when a website’s keyword phrases are more generic with fairly high profiles and are difficult to optimize for, such as search engine Optimization, web design, SEO, Mortgages, etc. The sandbox effect seems to not effect every new website in Googles Directory. I personally have seen site slip the Net of Sandboxing while other well-written errorless optimised sites can stay filtered for months on end. The effect still consists no matter what incoming links they have from other high-ranking related websites.
Although the Google sandbox effect is merely a theory, it is a theory that a large percentage of web professionals, webmasters and search engine Optimization professionals believe is a filter that has been incorporated into the Google algorithm. Theory suggest that this filter has been put in place to sandbox discourage Spam websites so googles directory stays up to date with relevant content.
The Google Algorithm encoded into their search spiders is very complex we at Just Search LTD believe that it is not just one filter that is applied to a websites. Google has numerous databanks of information and has very intelligent robots. This is why the practice of Good Search Engine Optimization will help you achieve results in the other search engine while you wait for your site to appear out of the Sand Box.
